Katarzyna Mroczkowska spiking the ball out of bounds and Jordan Larson-Burbach blocking led to a three-point lead for the Turkish squad – 18-15.
The ending was unexpectedly exciting. The set went deeply into overtime before Eczacıbaşı closed it off at 31-29.
Joanna Kaczor, player of Impel which noted all two losses, was the top scorer of the match with 18 points, while Maja Poljak noted 15 points in Eczacıbaşı with two wins out of the same number of matches.
