Piotr Gacek (37) is considered as one of the best liberos in the country for a decade.
Prior to joining Trefl, Gacek played for Częstochowa, Skra and Zaksa, among others.
With these teams, he won two Polish championships, took three silver and three bronze medals in the league and four national Cups.
In addition to many club successes, Gacek was vice champion of the world and European champion with the Polish national team.
Thanks to his excellent performances this season, Trefl’s libero went back to the national team after a four-year break.
