This coming January 13, 2013 a charity/foundation known as “The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity” will auction a few souvenirs and memorabilia donated by players in order to raise money to buy equipment that is needed for treating children as well as aged people. This will be the first time – since 1993 – that the auction is being held with the intention to help two different groups of people.
The staff of the website “Siatkowka w Obietkywie” is currently collecting gadgets, t-shirts and other souvenirs that will be auctioned this coming January. Last year – as t-shirts were donated by stars such as Lukasz Zygadlo, Zbigniew Bartman or Giba – around 4’000 € were collected and finally transferred to that foundation. The intention is to break that record by auctioning even more items than last year.
