Bulgarian outside hitter Asparuh Asparuhov is set to join Kuzbass Kemerovo for the upcoming season, as reported by Bulgarian volleyball resource Sportal.bg and Russian source BO Sport. Asparuhov previously played for the Italian team Padua, which finished 7th in the SuperLega Credem Banca. Asparuhov will be teaming up with Serbian opposite player Dušan Petković, who is also a new addition to Kuzbass. Asparuhov’s career includes stints with Bulgarian clubs Slavia and Montana, as well as Polish team Szczecin and Italian team Verona.
