Serbian VF relieved President Nenad Golijanin of his duties due to his conduct on the 35th Congress of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), held in Buenos Aires, two weeks ago.

Golijanin abstained from voting on Kosovo** acceptance into FIVB membership. Thus, he expressed his personal stand on that, not a stand of the national volleyball federation.

Until the election of the new President, Working Body consisted of three men will lead Serbian VF. One of those three is Federation Vice-President and also one-time Olympic champion Vladimir Grbić.

** Kosovo is partially recognised state by the United Nations settled in Southeast Europe that declared independence from Serbia in 2008. It is not recognized by Serbia.
