Having a 2-0 in the series in their pocket and being two sets up against the second seed Arkas in Game 3 of the 2018-2019 Efeler Ligi playoff finals, it looked like No.5 seed Fenerbahçe will celebrate the national title after several years of drought. But, the home side made a full comeback to win their first match in the series: 23-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-20, 19-17.

Thanks to 21 points from Adis Lagumdžija and 5 kill blocks from Mustafa Koç, Arkas postponed the announcement of the title winners for, at least, one more game which will be played on April 30. Cuban Salvador Hidalgo Oliva scored 25 points for Fenerbahçe.
