The head of the TVF said that Turkey offered to organize the Final Six of this year’s women’s VNL instead of China if the coronavirus epidemic continues in this Asian country (from which it started to spread around the world) until May.

“The FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League will start in May. China will organize several tournaments (Tianjin, Ningbo, Jiangmen, Hong Kong, and Macau) and the finals will also be in China (Nanjing). We are very concerned about the coronavirus epidemic situation in China. As one of the best volleyball countries in Europe and the world, we have achieved a lot in hosting such games, and we have a lot of excellent organizational skills to host it,“ Üstündağ stated and added that he already spoke with the President of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Ary Graça about this possibility and the Brazilian was “very happy about it“.
