The players of Imoco, one of the strongest women’s clubs in Italy and beyond at the moment, attract so much attention from rivals across Europe. Apart from Egonu and Sylla, who are marked as priorities for Turkey’s Fenerbahçe Opet this summer, one more pillar of the Conegliano team might end up in the same country.
Turkish sirens, this time from Eczacıbaşı VitrA, call for Monica De Gennaro, the libero of the Italy National Team. ‘The Tigers’ actually count that this might be the way to persuade her husband, the Imoco head coach Daniele Santarelli, to take over the post instead of Motta.

That would be amazing.
due to 3+1 rule in turkey, 3 foreign players are allowed on court and one on bench. surely clubs prefer foreign hitters and rarely setters/ blockers but never liberos. moreover eczaci’s present libero is simge akoz. 😀 😀 ,so de gennaro’s presence in turkish derbies will be out of question,if she comes to eczaci.
they signed a new coach apparently. can’t remember his name, it’s that young turkish coach that worked in japan national team a few years ago
That’d be Ferhat Akbaş.

De Gennaro is more than a Libero she’s an added setter , you’ll never know whether she gives the ball to Wolosz or Malinov or she’s going to set herself that makes her team very difficult to read
