The playoff participants of the 2021/22 Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship, Türk Hava Yolları, are determined to secure all current pillars for the next season.
In the last few days, THY (who has just secured a slot in the 2021/22 Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi playoffs) renewed contracts with several pillars but also a head coach.
Italian Marcello Abbondanza will continue the journey on the bench of the Istanbul club, which he set off in 2019. THY have also extended the deal with their top scorer (381 points at the moment, the 9th in the league’s scorer list) Kiera Van Ryk. The Canadian opposite hitter joined their ranks at the beginning of the ongoing season. Apart from these two, THY renewed with Bahar Toksoy Guidetti and German Hanna Orthmann.
