Serb Tijana Bošković dominated the court in the first round of the 2022–23 Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship.
The MVP of the last FIVB Women’s World Championship, Tijana Bošković, opened the club season in the same manner. In the first round of the 2022-23 Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi, the Serbian opposite scored 25 points in three sets of Eczacıbaşı Dynavit’s victory over Fenerbahçe Opet in the big derby: partial 25-20, 25-18, and 25-22.
Bošković’s individual performance in front of 5,000 rival fans is even greater when compared to the stars on the other side of the court. Russian Arina Fedorovtseva, the MVP of the Turkish Super Cup from a few days back, in which her team swept VakıfBank, ended the match with only 6 points. Actually, no ‘Fener’ player reached double digits in scoring. Beyza Arıcı and Hande Baladın made 4 blocks apiece for the ‘Tigers’.
