There’s a possibility that the new Turkey Women’s Volleyball National Team head coach, Daniele Santarelli, will take over the bench of the country’s club powerhouse, Fenerbahçe Opet.
Voleybol Magazin reported that Turkey’s Fenerbahçe aim to appoint Santarelli to their bench at the end of the season. It’s more and more likely that the “Yellow Angels“ will part ways with a renowned Serbian expert, Zoran Terzić, as soon as the curtain falls on the 2022–23 Sultanlar Ligi. Both parties seem to be preparing for such an outcome.
The same source sees Santarelli as Terzić’s replacement, and what goes in the favor of Fenerbahçe is that the Italian has just become the head coach of the Turkey Women’s National Team. Apparently, the management of the Istanbul club mobilized all their means to bring Santarelli to the helm.
