Finals
The second game of the series was really amazing. Fener was again without injured Fe Garay, but managed to take 2-1 lead in sets. Vakif won the fourth one, it was time for the tie-break thriller.
Away team has opened it with 4-1 lead. Yellow Angles have equalized on 6-6, but then Vakif made 4-0 series and came so close to the victory…
But, Fenerbahce could have stopped that. Home side had two chances to even the score. First one on 12-13, second one (and the last one) on 13-14… But, as we have already described, Seda Tokatlioglu could not pass through strong block of Vakifbank.
It is interesting that two most efficient players came from the losing side. Kim Yeon-Koung scored 27 points, while Aneta Havlickova added 24. On the other side, Jovana Brakočević made 24 points, Gozde Sonsirma 26.
The next game is scheduled for Wednesday.
