It will be Turkey’s first volleyball appearance at the “Olympics in either gender and only the second time it will participate in the Games in any team sport”.Isn’t that amazing? These girls have pretty much history in their country and they also have what it takes to make Olympic history by winning a medal at the upcoming Games.

Turkey joins 7 other qualified teams from host Great Britain, Italy, USA, China, Dominican Republic, Algeria and Brazil. The remaining 4 spots will be decided later this month at the World Olympic Qualification tournament in Japan.
