Caner Dengin
Caner Dengin returned to Galatasaray after two years spent in Şahinbey. While previously wearing the jersey of the team from Istanbul (2008-2013), he won two medals.
As voleybolunsesi.com wrote, both sides reached an agreement in principle and signing is expected to be taken in the coming days.
Dengin is Galata’s second reinforcement after Finnish Tervaportti while it parted ways with the coach Gulinelli.
Galatasaray’s rival and Turkish vice-champion, Halkbank, released the quartet and wished them good luck in their new clubs, as it was stated on the official website of the team from Ankara.
Halkbank didn’t extend contracts with Nuri Şahin, Can Ayvazoğlu, Turgay Doğan and Gökhan Çatal. They are not only players to leave club as Esko and Juantorena already departed.
Recall, Halkbank previously signed Le Roux and Kooy and extended with Sokolov.
