They are obviously happy because of the win, however the Turkish side think they could have finished this match much earlier.
“We claimed the first round of this double header but this doesn’t mean anything, because we have to win the next match as well. Of course we are happy with this victory. We could have finished it 3-1 but we provided our opponent with a chance to claim the fourth set. Volero have a very tall and physically strong team, and that is the main reason that they stand strong till the last point. I am convinced that we can win also the re-match in Zurich and will qualify for the Final Four,” said VakifBank head coach Giovanni Guidetti.
