TUR M: Reigning champions Halkbank get into trouble after defeat vs. Piyango

Maliye Piyango have defeated Halkbank in four sets to cause a major upset in the 17th round of the Turkish championship, 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-20).

Halkbank got into trouble after this defeat as they now have to fight for the fourth place if they want to stay in race for the championship trophy.

Mihajlo Stankovic had a good display. He ended game with 23 points while Oliver Venno added 20. On the other side, the Serbian superstar Ivan Miljkovic scored 23.

Now, Halkbank have 11-6 score, while Maliye Piyango have 10-7! It’s going to be an interesting battle for the fourth place.
