After the completion of the tryout, the seven top division clubs of the 2020/21 Korean Championship have chosen one foreigner apiece for the next season. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Korean federation (KOVO) was forced to cancel the tryout that was to be held in Prague, the Czech Republic, and replace the training and testing of foreign players with only tests in a hotel in the country’s capital of Seoul.

The draft was held in the way that the lowest-ranked club from the last season (Uijeongbu KB Damage Insurance Stars) had the right to choose a player first, and so on. The two foreigners will stay in the same club for the second straight season: Spaniard Andrés Villena (Incheon Korean Air Jumbos) and Ugandan Daudi Okello (Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers).

The result of the draft for the 2020/21 v-League (see the list of all players that applied for the tryout):

Uijeongbu KB Damage Insurance Stars: Noumory Keita (OH, Mali – Niš, Serbia)

Daejeon Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Bluefangs: Bartosz Krzysiek (OPP, Poland – Stal Nysa S.A., Poland /Division 2/)

Seoul Woori Card Wibee: Alexandre Ferreira (OH, Portugal – Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie, Poland)

Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm: Kyle Russell (OPP, USA – Cannes, France)

Incheon Korean Air Jumbos: Andrés Villena (OPP, Spain)

Ansan OK Savings Bank Rush & Cash: Michał Filip (OPP, Poland  – BKS Visła Bydgoszcz, Poland)

Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers: Daudi Okello (OPP, Uganda)
