Italian champions, Itas Trentino, have confirmed the appointment of Fabio Soli as the new coach for their team.
Soli has secured a contract for two seasons, ready to steer the Trentino squad into a promising future. Despite his relative youth, he has held a commanding presence in the SuperLega for the past seven seasons, earning impressive international experience along the way.
Starting his coaching journey as an Assistant Coach in 2011, Soli has worked alongside notable figures such as Silvano Prandi, Daniele Bagnoli, Daniel Castellani, and Marco Bonitta of the Women’s National Team. His head coaching roles have spanned from Fenerbahce to Sora, earning a promotion to the top league, as well as Ravenna, Monza, Cisterna, and even the Estonian National Team.
Soli will be the eighth man to take up the coach’s mantle for Trentino Volley’s men’s team, and the sixth Italian to do so.
