Kruno Nikačević, a Croatian middle blocker, recently inked a contract with ABBA Pineto Volley. Nikačević, born in 1996, had earlier stints with Croatian teams MOK Rovinj and HAOK Mladost Zagreb, and most recently played for Dukla Liberec in the Czech Republic. He is all set to kick off his debut season in Italy’s Serie A2 Credem Banca, bringing with him experience from the Champions League and Euro Volley garnered during his tenure with club and national teams.
Among other accomplishments, Nikačević has secured third place in the European Golden League in both 2022 and the recently concluded 2023 seasons. His impressive sporting résumé also highlights four Croatian championships.
Alongside his new role at ABBA Pineto Volley, Nikačević will take the court in the forthcoming European Championship this August, donning the colors of the Croatian national team.
