Italian opposite Terry Enweonwu will play for Grot Budowlani Łódź in the 2024/25 season. The 24-year-old hails from Padua and has built her volleyball career in Italy’s Serie A.
Last season, she was a key attacker for Honda Olivero San Bernardo Cuneo. Her previous teams include II Bisonte Firenze (2020-2023), A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano (2019-2020), and Club Italia Crai (2016-2019).
“I chose Budowlani because after a good season post-injury, I wanted to take a risk. I’ve learned that the future is unpredictable, so this is a great opportunity for my career. I believe the Polish league is strong and respectable, and I look forward to the challenge,” said Enweonwu.
Marcin Chudzik, the club president, expressed his excitement: “I’m thrilled Terry is joining us. She is a promising young attacker with great physical attributes, having developed alongside renowned players like Asia Wołosz and Paola Egonu at Conegliano. She was a key player for Cuneo last season, and I believe she will strengthen our team in both the TAURON League and the Champions League.”
