POL M: Trefl crush Lubin in front of Plus Liga record attendance since 2014/15

Trefl Gdańsk scored the 9th straight win in the Polish men’s volleyball championship Plus Liga 2017/2018, the 11th straight win counting all tournaments in which they compete this season.

Trefl Gdańsk easily prevailed against Cuprum Lubin in an inaugural match of Round 26 to isolate themselves at the third place in the standings, 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-18).

Artur Szalpuk topped the hosts with 19 points and 81% attack (17/21), while Piotr Nowakowski added 5 kill blocks. Łukasz Kaczmarek scored 12 points for Lubin.

The game was played at Ergo Arena in front of 9,781 spectators, which is the best attendance in a single Plus Liga encounter since the 2014/15 season.
