The Turkey National Team head coach, Giovanni Guidetti, revealed the names of the players that’ll represent the nation in the 2022 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship to be held from September 23 to October 15, hosted by the Netherlands and Poland.
During a media day organized by the Turkish federation at the Burhan Felek hall in Istanbul, the head coach, Guidetti, revealed the names of the 14 players that’ll participate in the upcoming World Champs, captained by Eda Erdem Dündar.
The Turkey NT list:
Setters: Cansu Özbay, Elif Şahin.
Outside hitter: İlkin Aydın, Hande Baladın, Meliha İsmailoğlu, Saliha Şahin, Derya Cebecioğlu.
Opposite hitters: Meryem Boz, Ebrar Karakurt.
Middle blockers: Eda Erdem Dündar, Zehra Güneş, Ayçin Akyol.
Liberos: Simge Aköz, Aylin Acar.
