GER M: Berlin beat Friedrichshafen in front of the home crowd

In the derby of the Bundesliga 2nd round, 5,238 spectators in Max Schmeling Halle welcomed the first home victory of BR Volleys in the 2022/2023 season. In the duel between the champions and the cup winners, the Berliners won 3-1 (24-26, 30-28, 25-16, 25-22). The support of the home crowd was key to Berlin Recycling Volleys turnaround after losing the first set, giving them the wind at their backs to win the 2nd set and control the match in the next two sets.

In the second match of the day WWK Volleys Herrsching defeated VCO Berlin 3-1 (16-25, 25-22, 18-25, 23-25)
