In the derby of the Ligue A 4th round, Chaumont convincingly defeated Narbonne and took first place in the overall standings. Luca Vettori with 18 points was the best scorer of the game, but it was not enough to stop the Chaumont team on the way to victory. Patrick Gasman with 11 points was Chaumont best scorer, followed by Patrik Indra and Pierre Toledo who added 10 points each.
