It seems that Igor Gorgonzola Novara already came to terms with the fact that Turkish female volleyball star Ebrar Karakurt will leave their ranks even though the season isn’t over yet.
For a few weeks now, the news has been circulating that Ebrar will play in the Russian Superliga with Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region next year. This sped up Novara’s pursuit of a player capable of replacing the Turkish opposite. According to iVolley Magazine, Magdalena Stysiak is among the possible candidates.
Unlike the previous season, a 22-year-old Pole isn’t finding much space in Vero Volley Milano due to the good form of American Jordan Thompson. Novara see a good opportunity here to snatch Stysiak from their Serie A rivals. What also goes in favor of Noavars is that they’re commanded by Stefano Lavarini, who used the full potential of Stysiak in the Poland National Team in the last FIVB World Championship.
