Yuji Nishida, the highly regarded Japanese male volleyball player, has officially become a part of the Panasonic Panthers. The news was confirmed via the official social media accounts of both the Panthers and Nishida himself.
Known for his stellar performance and popularity among fans, Nishida is no stranger to the world of professional volleyball. He had previously spent the 2021/2022 season playing for Vibo Valentia in Italy before making a triumphant return to his home country of Japan. Nishida is also a standard member of the Japanese national team and their standout player.
In the 2022/2023 season, Nishida donned the jersey of the JTEKT Stings, a team he was part of from 2017 to 2021.
Nishida’s addition to the Panasonic Panthers is a significant gain for the team led by French coach Laurent Tillie.
