GER M: BR Volleys tie final series against Friedrichshafen for second time

Berlin Recycling Volleys forced the 2018/19 German Men’s Volleyball Championship final to a decisive Game 5.

 

For the second time in the 2018/19 1. Bundesliga Männer playoff finals, the No.3 seed Berlin Recycling Volleys faced the challenge of equalizing the series against the top seed VfB Friedrichshafen in their own ground, the Max-Schmeling-Halle. And they were successful on both occasions. Game 4 ended in four sets in the favor of the team from the German capital, partially 28-26, 25-21, 15-25, and 25-21, with the presence of 8,553 spectators.

Thus, the fifth game will decide if BR Volleys will defend the title or if Friedrichshafen will win their first title after four years. The championship worth encounter will be held at Friedrichshafen’s ZF Arena on May 12.
