POL M: Resovia part ways with head coach, Cretu - "Probably they were not satisfied with my work"

1948 0

Resovia had one of the worst seasons in their history, finishing the season in the seventh place.

The Romanian coach Gheorghe Cretu is no longer at the helm of Asseco Resovia.

Am I surprised? No. Everyone decides in its home and arranges it in his own way. I've been in this business for many years and I know how it works. I respect the decision of the club and wish Asseco Resovia the best, above all, that the next season would be better than this one. Perhaps the club was not happy with my work, but this is more of a question for the board,” - Gheorghe Cretu for plusliga.pl.

Resovia have already started creating the roster for the next season.

VNL F6 M: With 5 players in double digits, Brazil down Iran to clinch last semifinal berth

It was a fantastic game. Brazil won previous game 3-2 and most of spectators were predicting that this match is as easy as previous but Iranian players show that anything is possible if you work hard and believe that you can! Brazilian players were stronger and highly skilled but in volleyball, no one can say win is absolute. Reply

I would have to agree here. Leal is a huge addition to a very talented squad. They have been a force all tourney long.
But I'm going to go with my gut instead of my head.
