Friedrichshafen
Zenit Kazan, VfB Friedrichshafen, and Sir Colussi Sicoma Perugia reached their fourth straight win in their respective pools to join Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in the Playoffs 12 of the 2018 CEV Champions League.
VfB Friedrichshafen from Germany did not give a glimmer of hope to the Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki in Pool B with Athanasios Protopsaltis scoring 14 points against the club from his home country. Philipp Collin contributed with 5 kill blocks.
In Pool D, The reigning champions Zenit Kazan survived the opening set against the hosts Jastrzębski Węgiel from Poland, in Pool D, before confidently took the next two. The Cuban Wilfredo León scored 15 points for the Russian club.
In Pool A, Sir Colussi Sicoma Perugia struggled against the Belgian Knack Roeselare only in the second set while the rest of the game went their way. The American Aaron Russell highlighted the recent Italian cup winners with 18 points (4 aces, 2 kill blocks).
