Challenge Cup W: Olympiacos again in the final

For the second consecutive season, Olympiacos Piraeus will play in the final of the CEV Women's Challenge Cup.

Today they have celebrated the big victory in the second semifinal match against Dinamo Krasnodar and with 2-0 in series will deservedly play in the final of this year’s competition.

Match in Krasnodar was finished after three sets (20-25, 15-25, 13-25) and Greek champions didn’t have mercy.

Olympiacos scored 10 aces and 10 blocks during the match while the host team put only 3 blocks for the whole match and without aces. 

Saskia Hippe (15), Jana Franziska Poll (14) and  Stephanie Niemer (13) led Olympiacos while Irina Smirnova with 10 points was the best in the Russian team.
