The regular season of the Polish Plusliga has officially come to an end with the conclusion of the last two games of Round 30.
BBTS Bielsko-Biała hosted Ślepsk Malow Suwałki in the first game, which ended in a clear 0-3 victory for the latter. LUK Lublin defeated PGE Skra Bełchatów in straight sets in the second game, resulting in Bełchatów dropping to eleventh place. This marks their worst season in the last 20 years.
As a result of these games, the pairs for the playoff phase and the competition for the next places have been determined. The 1/4 finals will be played in a best-of-five format and will include the following pairs: Asseco Resovia Rzeszów vs PSG Stal Nysa, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie vs Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, Jastrzębski Węgiel vs Trefl Gdańsk, and Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle vs Projekt Warszawa.
For the 9th place, Slepsk Malow Suwalki will face off against LUK Lublin in a match, rematch, and possibly a golden set. Similarly, for the 11th place, GKS Katowice will play against PGE Skra Belchatow in a match, rematch, and possibly a golden set. For the 13th place, Cuprum Lubin will compete against Barkom Kazany Lviv in a match, rematch, and possibly a golden set. Finally, Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom will take 15th place, while 16th BBTS Bielsko-Biala will be relegated from Plusliga.
Overall, the regular season has set the stage for some exciting matches and fierce competition in the playoffs.
