The way Game 3 started, it seemed No.2 Beijing will repeat what they did in Game 2 when they swept the top-seed Shanghai. But, after getting a 2-0, they fell apart, allowing their rivals to make a turnaround and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Zhang Zhejia was the best scorer in Shanghai with 21 points, including 7 kill blocks. The Argentinean Facundo Conte added 17. Jiang Chuan scored 27 points (4 kill blocks) for Beijing. The Pole Michał Kubiak added 25 points.

Game 4 of the best-of-seven playoff finals is scheduled for April 17.
