The three-time Brazilian women’s volleyball Championship winners, Itambé/Minas, changed mind in regard to the foreign newcomer to the position of outside hitter.

According to Bruno Voloch, Minas reached an agreement with American outside hitter Megan Hodge-Easy. Thus, the Belo Horizonte club gave up on Dominican Bethania De la Cruz (parted ways with Russia’s Dinamo-Kazan) who seemed to be on the verge of signing with them.

The club champion of South America will be the first club of a former U.S. National Team member (four-time FIVB Volleyball Nations League winner, MVP once) Easy after a two-year break due to rupture of the Achilles tendon, sustained while wearing the jersey of Italy’s Imoco Volley Conegliano.
