Serginho won the Superliga in 2010/2011 with SESI SP. He also won three Cups, two Paulista championships and one South American in 2011 with the club.

The player also commented on the change of the command staff. Giovane Gávio left the club, Marcos Pacheco is his replacement.
“The team will undergo some changes, it is normal at the end of each season, but Pacheco is a guy known to everyone and no one disputes his ability to assemble a team. A guy who is a winner, no doubt.“
