If Vivo Minas wins this competition, it will qualify for the Club World Championship. Vivo already won the South American Club Championship in 1984, 1985 and 1999.
“We are in need of vacation, but this is a very important championship. Our home court is full, and we are committed to the club and the sponsors, and are obliged to give our maximum. We really want to win this competition and now we face an Argentine team, which is a tough opponent, but we really want to win” Marcelinho said.
“We had a great difficulty to resume the pace, and keep the form we had in the Superliga. We faced a team that is difficult to play against in its court. We had a good chance in the first set… But it was a rich season for RJX, it ends today with no chance of the title, but that does not erase everything that we did. Minas deserved to reach the final” Marcelo Fronckowiak said.
