The Brazilian journalist Bruno Voloch has interviewed Marcelo Mendez, the head coach of Argentina.
He is well known in Brazil since he was a head coach of Sada Cruzeiro for 12 years. Bruno Voloch took the opportunity to ask him about his future and the chances of taking over the Brazilian men’s national team.
“It would be an honor to lead the Brazilian men’s national team,” says Mendez in an interview.
He managed to defeat Brazil in the third-medal game at the Tokyo Olympics and to bring Argentina the bronze medal. That left Brazil without a medal at the Olympics which is the worst result in the last 20 years of the men’s team.
