“I want to play while my body can withstand the highest level, but this is almost certainly my last season. I am already participating in some management decisions here in Canoas, and that will probably be my future. I want to remain in volleyball, and I will stay devoted to Canoas but from different position” stated Gustavo.

He also said that his dream is to one day be in the management of Brazilian Volleyball Federation.

This will be the 13th season for Gustavo Endres in Brazilian Superleague, and he also spent the eight years playing in Italy. His trophy case is full of prestigious trophies and awards, but probably most valuable ones are the gold medal from the Olympic Games 2004, silver from the Olympic Games 2008, and two gold medals from the World Championships 2002 and 2006.
