Carol prioritized family over volleyball this season and took time to play amateur tennis.
She emphasized that she was taking care of her physical shape and ensured that offers from various clubs from both, home country and abroad, did not lack, but she managed to resist them all in order to spend more time with her family in São Paulo.
Before deciding to make the one-season break from professional volleyball, Carol was a member of Sesi-SP, three consecutive seasons.
