After winning the gold medal with Brazil at the Rio Olympics, Bruno Mossa de RezendeSergio Dutra dos Santos, Lucas Saatkamp and Douglas Cprreia de Souza have joined the team. Together with Sidnei dos Santos Junior, Murilo Endres, Theo Fabricio Nery Lopes and the others they form a very quality group of players which will try to bring back the championship title to Sao Paulo after 6 long years.

Recall that Sesi were the champions of Brazil last time in 2010/11 season.

No doubt that they will lose … again. Sada Cruzeiro is still the best team in the Brazilian Superleague. In recent years, several strong teams were created in Brazil to conquer the championship, but none of them managed to overcome the supremacy of Sada Cruzeiro.
SESI has failed successively in previous editions (even with the setter Bruno being part of the team in past, they have not been able to beating the Cruzeiro team. Many people say that Bruno was playing in Italy because he was tired of losing in Brazil).
Let’s see if this year the outcome will be different.

Hey, dude. Remind that Wallace de Souza, important piece of Sada Cruzeiro (and Brazil NT too) in all its glory, left the team this season.
Particularly, I think that SESI is strong, but there’s not much of a chance for SESI win the title.
Already Taubate team prepared a good team for this season and have considerable chance of defeating Cruzeiro and claim the throne!
With Wallace de Souza, Lucarelli and the experienced setter Raphael (ex-Trentino player), Taubate team can exceed expectations and become a pleasant surprise.
I’m also tired of watching the Sada Cruzeiro win all volleyball championships that they compete!!
The glory must change hands!
