That was the statement made by former Dinamo Moscow star Ivan Zaytsev, while Zenit Kazan head coach Vladimir Alekno had a prepared answer in the interview for club’s TV Channel.
“When Trentino haven’t allowed anyone to ‘breathe’ in volleyball for 3-4 years no one was telling that they were ‘killing’ the game. Then, there was Belogorie Belgorod, which did not let anyone to say anything… If someone want to compete with Zenit Kazan, they should sign good players. I do not care what people say. I will do everything to make Zenit Kazan always win,” said Alekno.

Instead of that just concentrate on the national team man…they need you more…please do everything you can do for the national tram
@M yeah i agree why not put all his zenit players in the national team except for anderson and leon. cause t his team already know the style of play and strategy of alekno look during the european olympic qualifier finals. he put berezhko and markin then the setter is grankin the connection is their they played a good volleyball,
I agree with ivan when zenit plays such a high level volleyball, just recall last season zenit just has one defeat, other clubs can not play with young talnted players Just because of the important issue, money, they invest money and want to compete with zenit so they cant trust younger players, and such younger players in russia is numerous just look at the national team of U23 & U21. For example this season lokomotive has young talented players libero and setter but they signed with americans, it would be obvious that russian young players shouls spent the season on bench so they can not be prepared for the national team and the result would be obvious…
