The team from Belo Horizonte beat Superliga newcomers 3-0, with partial 25-19, 25-18 and 25-22, after one and a half hour.
Cruzeiro have played only one game so far in 2016/17 Superliga, a victory over Juiz de Fora, as their debut game was postponed due to their participation at the FIVB World Club Championship where Cruzeiro took the trophy .
Cruzeiro receiver, Cuban Yoandy Leal, highlighted of the match and was elected the best on the court.
