BRA M: Sesc sweep Campinas and make it to playoff semifinals

The second-seed Sesc-RJ is the first side to take its place in the playoff semifinals of the 2017/18 Brazilian men’s volleyball championship Superliga.

No.2 Sesc-RJ won the 2017/18 Superliga playoff quarterfinal series against No.7 Vôlei Renata (Campinas) by a 2-0. Sesc prevailed in Game 2 in four sets, just like in Game 1, partially 24-26, 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.

The winning side had five players in double digits in the scoresheet, led by Paulo Silva, who delivered 16 points. Maurício Borges made 81% reception (26 digs, 1 error, 54% perfect), while Tiago Barth recorded 75% attack (9/12).
