In Pool E, Finland dominated without any problems while the Czech Republic celebrated their first win and jumped on the second place.

After a difficult first set, Finland overpowered Sweden in the next three parts, taking their third win in the qualification pool.

Lubomir Stanek, assistant coach of Czech Republic: “We are happy for the 3 points, we have lost twice in the tiebreak, so it is a relief for us and the girls. We go on, we have to confirm it in Estonia. I’m glad we won two sets in a row for the first time in qualifying matches. Then I knew we were going to finish it.”

In Pool F, Romania and Spain celebrated new wins but everything is still open.
