On the other side, Israel celebrated the first win and that was against Iceland who now have three losses.

In Pool B, Croatia celebrated their third win and tonight against Austria after only three sets. While Switzerland defeated Albania also with 3-0.

In Pool C, Montenegro finally came to the first win. They outplayed Norway thanks to Tatjana Bokan who scored 21 points and Ana Otasevic who had 75% in attack.

In Pool D, France expectedly defeated Georgia and stayed on the top while Portugal were stronger than Denmark.

In Pool E, Finland dominated without any problems while the Czech Republic celebrated their first win and jumped on the second place.

After a difficult first set, Finland overpowered Sweden in the next three parts, taking their third win in the qualification pool.

Lubomir Stanek, assistant coach of Czech Republic: “We are happy for the 3 points, we have lost twice in the tiebreak, so it is a relief for us and the girls. We go on, we have to confirm it in Estonia. I’m glad we won two sets in a row for the first time in qualifying matches. Then I knew we were going to finish it.”
