The French side has scored a 3-0 win over the team from Norway 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-21). It was a good game from Chaumont, who spoiled the historic moment for the hosts as they made a debut in the CEV Champions League, playing in front of a fully packed Sotra Arena in Straume.
Wassim Ben Tara was the best scorer of the match with a total of 17 points for the winners. His teammate Matej Patak and Viking’s Vetle Hylland scored 14 points each.
