The last day of the competition at the U19 EuroVolley was to give the name of the national team that will fill the last vacancy for the semifinals. And, that’s Serbia. They swept Poland in a direct duel for the place in the top four in Pool I in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina: 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-21).
Serbia, who claimed No.2 in their pool, had three players in double digits in scoring, led by the rising star of European volleyball Vanja Savić. The opposite hitter of Jedinstvo Stara Pazova tallied 17 points. The TENT Obrenovac middle blocker Hena Kurtagić made 4 kill blocks.
