The first and second sets were quite close, before PIACENZA broke away early in the third to cruise to an emphatic 25-12 win to seal their victory. The Italians recorded as many as 12 blocks and five aces along the way to their 3-0 win. Fernando Hernandez top scored with 16 points with Trévor Clévenot and Leonel Marshall B. adding another 11 and 10 to the Italian haul, respectively.
