Brazil No.1 in latest FIVB men’s world ranking, but loses supremacy among women

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has published the end-of-year world ranking.

The new world ranking of national teams was released by the FIVB at the transition between 2021 and 2022.

Among men, Brazil’s primacy is confirmed. ‘Seleção’ is ahead of the reigning world champion Poland and silver medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Russia. Compared to the previous ranking, when it comes to Top 10, the United States overtook Slovenia in 7th place, whilst Serbia fell to 9th place.

This is a complete men’s ranking.

As for women, the United States, the winner of the Tokyo Olympics, replaced Brazil on No.1. The third place is reserved for China.
