FIVB RANKINGS: World League winner stagnates, US ladies still on top

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced the official ranking list of national teams after the 2015 World League and World Grand Prix.

As predictions showed, despite winning the World League, France, remained on the same position comparing to previous list, it is ranked 12th.

First five national teams didn’t change their spots, but World League runner-up, Serbia advanced two positions and it’s now sixth.

Among top 15 teams (three are sharing spot no.15), Bulgaria, Cuba, South Korea and Egypt also went up, while for example, world bronze medalist, Germany dropped two places, claiming spot no.9.

In the women’s competition, top three teams: USA (WGP winner), Brazil and China stayed on their previous positions.

Italy and Russia advanced one spot each, but Japan and Dominican Republic went down…
