GP 2017: Olympic champions crushed Russia

In the second match of the Day 2 at the FIVB World Grand Prix 2017 Tournament of Pool B1 in Kunshan, China claimed another big victory.

Today, China outplayed Russia in the tie-break (24-26, 25-21, 16-25, 27-25, 16-14) and in that way scored the second win at the tournament. Jingwen Qian was the main scorer in the winning team with 15 points followed by Jing Li 13 points while Kseniya Parubets was the top scorer in the Russian team with 20 points.

The Russians are still winless in the tournament, while for China this was the 12th win against this strong opponent in the 30 World Grand Prix games they have played so far.

Tomorrow China will face the USA for the first place at the end of the Week 1.
