In a sensational comeback, Tours Volleyball Club has secured its ninth French championship title after overcoming Chaumont in straight sets (25-16, 25-16, 27-25), followed by a decisive 15-10 Golden Set victory.
Just a week after being eclipsed by Chaumont in a 3-0 defeat, Tours rallied to reverse the tide on home ground. The triumphant turnaround was punctuated by a standout performance from Joao Rafael De Barros Ferreira. He was the match MVP and top scorer with 20 points to his credit. João Rafael spectacular performance came at a crucial time, propelling Tours to the championship win.
